Diane Demeter Knight, PhD, APRN, CPNP has been blessed to serve in many "professional incarnations," from Pediatric ICU nurse and Clinical Nurse Specialist in a pediatric tertiary care medical center to grant-writer and program development at a Native Hawaiian Health Center, and faculty at two universities teaching both graduate and undergraduate nursing, to Chair of Graduate Programs in Nursing at Hawaii Pacific University, securing the full ten-years re-accreditation of the FNP program and accreditation of the only Acute-Care NP program in Hawaii, in 2016. She currently practices full-time in a busy primary care pediatric clinic with her own panel of patients, as well as teaches part-time and precepts FNP students from various universities around the country.
