BIOGRAPHY:
Dr. Burrell, a Certified Nurse Educator, has over 40 yrs experience in nursing with emphasis on Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing, Interdisciplinary Studies, and Transcultural Nursing. She has worked locally, nationally and internationally in nursing. She brings a wealth of experience to her teaching. She is also well known internationally for her research.
TEACHING INTERESTS:
Dr. Burrell teaches Psychiatric/Mental Health Nursing theory and clinical. She also teaches Transcultural Nursing, Healthcare Policy and Research at the undergraduate and graduate levels.
