Family Nurse Practitioner Program
Equal access to quality, affordable care poses one of the greatest challenges to improving patient health outcomes. Approximately 83 million people live in regions without adequate primary care, according to the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA), with a current shortage of over 15,000 health care providers.* Part of the solution lies in the next generation of family nurse practitioners.
We also believe that health care should be inclusive. A pillar of HPU’s MSN-FNP program is the philosophy of providing holistic care in a geographically, economically, and culturally diverse society. By specializing in family practice with HPU, you can help break down the barriers to care faced by individuals in remote, underserved communities by providing a wide range of family-focused health care services to patients of all ages, from infants to seniors.
