Rui Pang

Designer and design researcher Rui (Ray) Pang has worked in a variety of fields, including industrial design, UX design, graphic design, and service design. For him, it's all about exploring new ways to combine design with other fields to create better products and services for consumers.

His contributions to the program include:

• Knowledge in the art of design visualization, or the use of two- and three-dimensional images and narrative devices to better communicate ideas during the creation of a product.
• Prioritizing user needs and expectations by encouraging human-centered design thinking and implementing design innovation frameworks.
• Leveraging research via design methods and trend analysis, materializing theoretical findings into usable goods and services.

Ray earned his Master of Design degree from The University of Cincinnati.
